DB Cargo Polska in cooperation with Adampol S.A. Logistics Centre in Małaszewicze took up a new challenge, which was to launch regular transports of single wagons on the 1520 mm track.
The cooperation with Adampol S.A. started in September 2019 – DB Cargo Polska was commissioned to transport wooden boards from Belarus to Poland. The smooth implementation of the task resulted in another contract in 2020 – transport of containers from China to Poland to Adampol terminal.
At the turn of June and July 2020, test transports of combines and complete luxury cars (such brands as Bentley, Porsche and Volkswagen) to Uzbekistan and Maybach cars to Turkmenistan began. For DB Cargo Polska, these were the first transports of this type to the east along the wide track. Currently, these transports have been included in the portfolio of fixed transport on the 1520 mm track.
