Multimodal transport, although a very demanding process, offers a wide range of technologies and enables the implementation of various tasks. It is precisely based on multimodal, at our railway terminal in the Małaszewicze Logistics Centre, that we offer the service of wagon assembly and bogie replacement.
What does it involve?
- trucks bring elements of various wagons (wheel sets, chassis, superstructures) to Małaszewicze,
- they are unloaded at the railway terminal,
- each part is then placed on the tracks and in this way the wagons are assembled, and ultimately the entire trains are formed,
- the finished wagons in formed groups depart on a wide track (1520 mm).
Wagons assembly is a very complex task and requires extraordinary meticulousness from both reachstacker operators and the team working directly on the tracks. In Małaszewicze the following vehicles are serviced: tankers, coal wagons, containers and universal bodies.
