Adampol S.A. and Hyundai Glovis Europe employees took part in a two-day training on calculating and reporting the carbon footprint in the transport of finished vehicles.
The workshop, organised by ECG, aimed to support the organisation’s members in their decarbonisation activities and the implementation of ECG-VDA. This is a procedure for determining the amount of carbon dioxide emissions, developed specifically for the FVL sector.
Proper calculation of the carbon footprint is an important step towards implementing specific actions to reduce it. The use of a single method by all carriers is important because it constitutes one common point of reference for the results obtained and decisions made in the future.
