Deputy Director of Terminal Gdańsk

Responsibilites:

• Active participation in automotive tenders, managerial, and internal branch meetings.
• Preparation of business meetings and audits at the Gdańsk Branch, including notifying participants, preparing necessary documents and materials, securing equipment, and organizing refreshments through the managers of the office, terminal, and PDI sections.
• Supervision of planned budgets, ongoing costs, and investments of the Gdańsk Branch.
• Periodic intra-branch meetings to supervise the performance of individual sections, discuss problems, etc.
• Reporting the results of the Branch to the Board and ZMPG.
• Planning and approving delegations with contractors for Branch employees.
• Cooperating with and representing the Gdańsk Branch at meetings with contractors and ZMPG to discuss the short- and long-term strategy of the Automotive section of the Port of Gdańsk.
• Participation in or delegation of employees for representation at trade fairs and automotive conferences.
• Optimizing the Branch’s costs through planned, long-term activities.
• Adhering to health and safety and fire regulations, as well as the Code of Ethics and internal orders (e.g., against COVID-19) of ADAMPOL S.A. employees while performing their duties.
• Informing the immediate superior of any irregularities.

Requirements:

• Higher education, preferred majors: logistics, transportation, management, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position in the TSL industry.
• Experience in managing terminal or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of modern logistics solutions and the ability to implement them.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure and solve problems.
• Knowledge of regulations related to transport and logistics.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of other languages will be an additional asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to work and a results-oriented attitude.
