The General Assembly and Spring Congress of ECG – The Association of European Vehicle Logistics are behind us. The event, held in Baveno, Italy, brought together over 300 FVL industry leaders.
ECG is constantly at the forefront of the FVL sector. Its advocates for initiatives that support collaboration, standardization and efficiency improvement at a time when the industry is experiencing dynamic change and is constantly evolving. The participants of the congress confirmed their willingness to cooperate in key activities. Many topics were discussed, with particular emphasis on:
-reporting CO2 emissions
-technological development
-operational efficiency
The General Assembly of the ECG is also the moment of electing new authorities of the association. Mark Hindley is the new vice-president of the association. Two new board members were also elected.
The meetings organized by ECG are aimed at integrating the industry, exchanging views, and spreading professional knowledge. The next meeting of the association’s members will be held on October 24 in Hamburg.
